About me
I’m Wouter Schuit, a triathlete, student, and personal trainer driven by a deep passion for performance and movement.
After spending five years in the United States, I built a strong background in Track & Field, where my love for running began at the age of 17. My favorite event was the 1,000m sprint, and in 2020 I achieved a top-100 national ranking in the United States with a time of 2:35.
When I returned to the Netherlands, I continued pursuing my passion by joining Phanos, the athletics club at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Under the guidance of coach Wim Schoots, I truly learned what efficient, powerful running means.
In 2022, I decided to take things further — adding swimming and cycling to the mix — and soon after, I completed my first IRONMAN in Maastricht on August 7, 2022, finishing in 12.5 hours.
Since then, my triathlon journey has accelerated. In 2024, I became the Dutch National Champion (Age Group 20–24) and placed 21st at the Age Group World Championships. I currently compete in the Dutch Eredivisie Triathlon, representing Triathlon Club De Dolfijn in Amsterdam.
My mission is to inspire others to unlock their physical potential, combining the science of training with the mindset of an athlete.

Here is a picture of me competing in my first ever (sprint) triathlon.
